A Great Carol Burnett TV Movie!
Carol Burnett stars in this 1988 TV movie as a lonely widow with an unsympathetic daughter (played by Annette Bening.) One day while shopping, Carol is abducted at gunpoint by an escaped convict (played by Carol's real-life daughter, Carrie Hamilton.) Carrie takes Carol to the bank, and forces her to withdraw $1,000.00. Then she makes Carol drive her to New York City. The second half of the movie was really shot in NYC, which adds to the authenticity of the movie. Eventually Carol starts to feel sympathy for the young woman who is holding her hostage.

I HIGHLY recommend this movie to Carol Burnett fans, and to anyone who likes TV movies or Lifetime movies!
